Selected area: CSR at GREIFF
- GREIFF assumes responsibility within the entire textile supply chain.
- We take social, ecological and economic aspects into account in all our production processes.
- We place high demands on textiles that are harmless to human health and the environment, as well as textiles manufactured under fair working conditions.
- Therefore, GREIFF relies on cooperations, e.g. as a member of the Fair Wear Foundation (FWF), the Partnership for Sustainable Textiles and MaxTex.
- Our aim is to anchor holistic sustainability in our value chain.
Currently, our workwear is produced in contract manufacturing facilities in:
Bosnia, Germany, Morocco, Macedonia, Moldova, Pakistan, Romania, Ukraine and Vietnam.
- You can track the entire process of the manufacturing process of your GREIFF-product under myGREIFF.de .
- You can find the myGREIFF-code on the care label of your GREIFF-item
You can read about the developments in working conditions at our contract manufacturing facilities in our annual Social Report.
- The Brand Performance Check is an independent instrument of the Fair Wear Foundation for the evaluation and public reporting of the social standards of member companies.
The activities of each individual member are evaluated with the aim of further improving the working conditions in the production facilities.
- As part of the Brand Performance Check, GREIFF must demonstrate transparency and compliance with social standards in its business procedure.
- You can find our current Brand Performance Check at: Brand Performance Check
- GREIFF defines in its sustainability guideline concrete requirements for e.g. sustainable raw materials, production and transport for all its suppliers.
- We support our suppliers in the implementation of our guideline amongst other things with best-practice recommendations and a management manual for chemicals.
- We only use materials with the OEKO TEX STANDARD 100 for our NOS-products.
A summary of our goals can be found in the roadmap on the homepage of the Textile Alliance: To the roadmap
